- Answer I haven't had a problem with my septic tank. I just use Ridex monthly and I think that will take care of any problems.

QuestionDo clothes smell after washing??I have another brand front washer and the clothes smell moldy after washing them. There is mold in the washer that I can not get rid of.

- Answer No mine doesn't. With the silver care that takes care of any mold or bateria build up. You can also buy a solution from best buy to clean the machine and get rid of the mold. Also, the best thing is to leave your washing machine door open so it can dry and opent the dispenser too.

QuestionDetergent DispenserQ: I have read many complaints that the detergent dispenser leaks and the detergent and/or bleach, etc. go directly onto the clothes before the wash cycle begins. Has this issue been addressed by Samsung and have the current models for sale been fixed?

- Answer I just bought this washer and it looks like the dispenser has been changed. I don't have any problems with detergent or bleach leaking into the washer prematurely.

QuestionHow tall is the washer & dryer when they are stacked?I can see that each of the washer & dryer are 39" tall.... but how tall are they when stacked?

- Answer The washer and dryer are 39 inches tall, each. The stacking kit adds only about 1/2 inch. The issue that I have, and I am 6 feet tall, is that it is hard to read the display on the dryer when it is stacked. In addition, the buttons are silver with black print and you have to position yourself just right to read them.

- Answer No. Samsung washers just like 98% of front loading washers out there do not have the ability to switch the hinge on the washer. It has to do with the lock mechanism only on one side. However, Electrolux washers can be reversed and the only ones that Best Buy carries.

- Answer I haven't seen a washer on the market get past 166. This Samsung gets to 164 degrees. Much past 165, and the heat of the water can damage some fabrics. The upper-end Bosch does get to 166. Now with SilverCare, you can kill 99.999% of germs and bacteria in the clothes or bedding without heating the water.

- Answer It depends on the cycle you chose. Normal or Casuals will take about 50 to 55 minutes but Delicates or Handwash will take closer to 30 to 35 minutes.

- Answer Clothes designated as "dry clean only" should not be placed in any type of washing machine. Such clothes are not washed using water, but with a fluid at a professional dry cleaner. I do place certain garmets in the steam dryer for a freshening, but never linen or cashmere.

- Answer the rotation speed is 1300 rpm. If you remember how to calculate angular momentum using diameter of the drum and the speed, you can figure it out.
