Yes it actually does have an on/off button. The location of the button is actually in the bottom back of the TV (behind the red light if it is turned off and plugged in) and feels more like a joystick.

Please try again later.Yes, there is a multi-feature control knob which will turn the tv on/off as while as adjust the sound, etc. The negative is that it is located on the back side of the TV so may not be easily accessible depending on your setup. You can also get a wireless mouse and keyboard (which I recommend) and these will control most of the TV functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, on the back of the T.V bottom right corner. It more or less like a hat switch like on a games controller. Push in to turn on. Push in again and move up,down,left, right for options. Hope this helps.
