A:AnswerThere are definitely different brightness options, and the TV itself has several pre-sets, including movie (for darker rooms), standard (for typical home use) and dynamic settings - which are bright, bright settings for use in a very brightly lit room.
All of those can be a starting point for adjusting to a custom setting.

A:AnswerThis model is made by Samsung exclusively for BestBuy. I checked with Samsung. There are similar models available but you will not find this model number anywhere else. This is the best price for this tv and it's "siblings" that I could find, and I search and compared all the Samsung models in this size range.
A:AnswerThe 6200 does not have Anynet+ meaning it cannot control a sound bar. The 5300 and 6300 have both Anynet+ and a quad core processor for streaming which the 6200 lacks. The 5300 is 60hz refresh while the 6200 and 6300 are 120hz. All three have wifi. Lastly the 6200 has a thicker bezel then the others.
A:AnswerDefinitely the 120 hz motion rate, takes away from jittery picture during fast moving or panning scenes. Makes a considerable difference when upgrading from a lower grade old tv to a newer LED TV.
A:AnswerUN40J6300A is exclusively sold by BestBuy. There are similar models (nearly identical specs and features) but you will not find this exact model number anywhere else.. It is a 2015 model. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerEven though the Samsung is standard HD (not 4 K), you ought to see
videos in 4 K from Netflix and Amazon Prime----stunning.
I have owned 2 Toshiba flat panels in the past and thought their color, specifically facial tones could not be beat. This Samsung has done that while being sharper and consuming less power. It also has a very fast processor which makes streamed movies pop up almost instantly, and the tv boots up and turns on in under 5 seconds.
A:AnswerIt already has Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, Hulu, Playstation Now, Amazon, and a few others installed. It does give you the option to install more.

A:AnswerThis Samsung model is 2015 and does support Skype. I have a Samsung camera that places on top of the television that turns it into a giant Skype screen. Works great.
A:AnswerThe Samsung - 40 Class (40 Diag.) LED 1080p Smart HDTV is a Full High Definition (FHD) TV. All 1080p TVs are FHD, it is the standard that defines High Definition signals.
