• This Samsung model is 2015 and does support Skype. I have a Samsung camera that places on top of the television that turns it into a giant Skype screen. Works great.

• Not after June 2, 2016. Microsoft will cut support for Skype on TV from June 2, 2016, and Samsung has already confirmed that it will ditch the service.
