- Answer When I got the unit, I also got a Sony Blue-Ray player and both were installed at the same time, so you should not have a problem with a DVD player. I use cable, so see no reason why you should have a problem with Directv.

QuestionDo you need cable or Fioptics for this TV to work?

- Answer All you need are 2 HDMI cables. One for the cable box and one for the VCR. A fiber optic cable is not necessary. If, also , purchased a Sound Bar (it is not needed, but , it is nicer sound) it comes with the sound bar, a Bluetooth sub woofer and optical cable to connect to the TV. The Sound Bar is not necessary, but, it offers the effect of Surround Sound. The sub woofer can be placed anywhere in the room and plugged into an electrical outlet. The 2 speakers turn off after the TV is turned off!!!!!

QuestionHz?? Also do you install wall mount & tv ? Can you use "splitters" on HDMI ? Buying PS5 when they come out and need a TV now. I am too old to have problems and headached at this stage of my life

QuestionI need to know what the bolts/ threads are on the back of the TV that you mount the wall mount with.The bolts from the tv I had are not long enough. And it’s in a mountain remote area impossible to get bolts . Need to know whatto take with me to mount on

- Answer I believe the manual has a section that addresses the bolt sizes. They are metric. I believe they are M8 bolts. Length will be in millimeters, and I forget what the manual listed for the length.

- Answer The Samsung spec sheets state 0.4W in standby, normal (maybe average?) at 50W, and maximum at 104W. I haven't personally plugged it into a Kill-A-Watt but that doesn't seem like the worst idea sometime soon.
