• The NX58F5500SS cook top is 36" high to align with a standard counter top, but the height to the top of the back splash/control panel is approximately 46". Thanks for your question! Ms. Samsung

• The 46" is to the top of the range display, not the counter/cooking height. It is a standard size freestanding range.

• They are including the display panel, on the back or the range, in the size. But the range does sit higher than my old one. The burner grates are about two inches taller. Not a fan of this model.
