Q: How does broiler work with storage drawer under the range?
A: The broiler is located inside the range directly under the burners. Therefore to use the broiler you simply place a rack towards the top of the oven.
A: good question because if you measure the outside depth - including the over door handle, it's more like 27 1/2". It looks like they measured (23.69") from the back of the unit to the front of the over compartment - not including the door.
Q: Does it have drip trays? If not how do you clean under grate & is it hard to keep clean?
A: Thanks for the question. The NX58F5500SS does not have drip trays under the grates, but it does have sealed burners to prevent food from making its way under the cook top. The user manual contains instructions for keeping the cook top and other surfaces clean, but most spills can be cleaned up with warm, soapy water and a sponge. It's important to wipe up spills soon after they occur (taking care to allow it to cool first to avoid burns) so they don't get cooked on, making them more difficult to clean. - Ms. Samsung
Q: Is the back of the oven indented to accommodate the gas line hookup?
A: We use propane gas and there was a special hookup on the back for the propane hose. Installer had to remove the city gas hookup and replace it with the propane hookup as well as the igniters for the oven, broiler and all the burners.
Q: Regarding the stove top griddle: What is it made of?
A: Cast iron and has a non stick coating.

Q: Where does the heat from the oven exhaust to? is it behind the oven handle?
A: Hi Choosy, There's a vent underneath the right side of the control panel back splash where heat from the oven is vented. The vents in the NX58F5500SW door allow cooler air to circulate between the panes of glass in the door so it stays cool to the touch. Thanks for your question! Ms. Samsung
