A:Answer If you have both HD and standard cable for 3 months, then flip between the two stations during the same show and look at the differences for yourself. Yes, there is a difference. I, however, am too cheap to pay for the difference. Also, HD will gobble up your DVR memory much faster than standard definition.
I am addressing standard vs HD. I suggest doing some research on HD vs 4K. It has been a little while sense I checked, but last I looked, very little was available or broadcasted in 4K.
