Q: QuestionDoes this Samsung have any issues with lip sync? I had a 5000 series Samsung in which the sound did not match lip movement. Problem occured only with indoor antenna connection. Problem did not occur when using HDMI.

• A:Answer We use an outside antenna with an amplifier and get more than 80 channels. Some stations have a very bad lip sync problem but most do not have any problem. Therefore, I think the problem is with the specific station.

Q: QuestionMy tv is connected to the soundbar and everything sounds fine but when I want to play pandora or Nextflix (smart hub) sound only comes out of the tv speakers and not out of soundbar. Do I need another cable or where in settings would I be able to fix it.

• A:Answer You need a receiver to send the audio through. Using an optical cable out of the TV and into the receiver is the best choice.

• A:Answer It does have RCA output for a sound bar. I doubt that the TV will control the sound bar volume. I also have a new Samsung 9000 series hooked up to a Samsung Sound bar and the TV vol control does NOT control the sound bar volume. Or at least I cannot figure out how to make it do that. I have a separate small controller for the sound bar.

• A:Answer This has a NTSC and will not work for over the air reception in India. Any device you connect via HDMI should work so if you have a Satellite box or DVD/BlurRay player those should work. Plus you would need a power converter as this is for a 120 volt and India runs on 230V.

Q: QuestionCan Bose Wired Surround Sound be hooked up to this TV?I have Bose CINEMATE Wired Speakers, and I'm trying to hook them up to this Samsung - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) LED 1080p Smart HDTV Is that possible? it seems like everything is hooked up just the way my old Samsung TV was, and it worked great since 2009, with these particular Bose Speakers. It's not a soundbar, it's standing tower speakers with a base acoustimass module.

Q: QuestionReplacement for my 50" Samsung PlasmaI have a Samsung Plasma TV that I LOVE.. I mean LOVE.. unfortunately it is a 2008 model (ancient for a TV I know) and the speakers don't work anymore without using a receiver. my receiver just bit the dust and examining cost of replacing TV and or receiver considering the speakers don't work. I hate some TVs have this hitchy look to the picture and my Samsung has never done that, it's been perfect for 8 years! I'm a little nervous to replace it as I'm reading that there are some clarity issues with high speed pictures. I cannot stand that odd looking picture quality that is hard to describe but I've seen it on MANY TVs lately. I love Samsung and would like to stay but will I be happy with this as my Plasma replacement? didn't see a non-smart TV option as my DVD player is smart so don't really have to have the smart option either.
