“What is the speed of the “smart” tv? Can it connect to my router via Ethernet speeds of 1000mbps or even 10Gps? I can’t find these specs anywhere and that is actually crucial to the response of the TV in playback of streaming TV!”

I suggest you contact Samsung on their website. I used them once in an online chat and they were knowledgeable and didn't take a long time for a response.
