Great TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the 4k picture on this TV and I haven't done any advanced settings tweaking yet. I also don't lose any picture quality when sitting off to the side and I love that. I had to turn my old tv to see things better on the side farthest from my view. The remote and home menu are easy to use and I can change channels and change Apos with the voice control on the remote. Freaking awesome! I'd definitely recommend this TV. The only downside is the TV's mount holes are 6 inches lower than my old 55" TV and it covers my soundbar forcing me to have to lower it.

Very sharp picture
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture and high contrast only took about two minutes to setup could have a little better sound but I am going to pair it with a Bose 650 lifestyle home theatre so won’t be a problem for me

Love This TV!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this television for almost a month now. Picture is razor sharp. Colors are bright and blacks are nice and solid. Non glare picture. Remote is small & sleek. Lots of apps and user friendly technology. I have no complaints so far.

Better than my former Oled!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an Oled. Nice picture. Bad Burn in!!! This has a picture just as good as Oled. Love Tizen system. You can customize picture for each input and app. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Ambient mode. No need for big black wall when tv is off. Show artwork or mimic the wall behind. NO BURN IN WITH QLED.

Very Nice TV
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 4K SamSung 55” QLED is great. Especially with my PS4 Slim. . Has great graphics. The tv has pretty good speakers, they actually surprised me. . I really enjoy the Dimmable options. And it also has way more apps compared to my older tv. I enjoy the Air Play feature. Easy share YouTube and other videos.

Stunning!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this open box for $719. Reason being that it has scratches in the screen. Turns out it had a screen protector on it. Pulled that off and the screen is FLAWLESS!!!!

Q: QuestionWhat is the distance between the foot supports. I can't find that online. I need to know if it will fit on my TV stand.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer 39" YOU WOULD NOT RUN INTO THIS ISSUE IF SAMSUNG WOULD RETURN TO THE BETTER CENTER STAND.

Q: QuestionAnyone else with this or similar Samsung TV have trouble where the TV will turn itself back on? This typically happens within 5 seconds of turning it off, but had an instance the other night where at least 30 seconds elapsed. The remote batteries are new.
Asked by MrCurious.
- A:Answer Try turning OFF HDMI-CEC in the menus. it's called "Anynet+" on a Samsung. It's likely to be the only thing that can turn the tv back on, when it's supposed to stay off. This setting is located in: Settings > General > External Device Manager. Also check this setting, : Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Try either or both of those, and see if it doesn't fix the issue with powering off/on.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference in the different models of the QLED Series, and why would this affect me as a consumer?
Asked by karatemonkey21.
- A:Answer Q60 lots of color but narrow viewing angle, slower refresh rate. Q70 in between. Q80 has terrific color, superior viewing angle, and faster refresh rate for sports. Hope this helps. Q80 is the only one comparable to my plasma that gave out.

Q: QuestionHow is the sound quality? Also, does the sound come out the bottom, back or sprayed out sideways from the back? Definitely not looking for something that is louder on the sides.
Asked by MrCurious.
- A:Answer It's very even sound and very good quality for a TV it's better then last year I will say that I actually dont even use a soundbar but if your worried about sound then just get a soundbar and dont worry about it but yeah the TV speakers are great and again very even not more to the right or to the left it doesnt sound far away either it's very good for a tv

Q: QuestionI have read several review talking about how the q80 crushes blacks too much, sacrificing shadow detail and suppressing highlights. Is there a way to fix this in the settings, and does it then introduce more blooming as a result?
Asked by Orly.
- A:Answer Web site RTINGS.com. Lots of info about adjusting/calibrating all the models they evaluate, including the Samsung q80 series. Good site for 'how to' regardless of whether or not you agree with their reviews.
