Q: QuestionHow is the sound quality? Also, does the sound come out the bottom, back or sprayed out sideways from the back? Definitely not looking for something that is louder on the sides.

Q: QuestionAnyone else with this or similar Samsung TV have trouble where the TV will turn itself back on? This typically happens within 5 seconds of turning it off, but had an instance the other night where at least 30 seconds elapsed. The remote batteries are new.
Asked by MrCurious.
- A:Answer Try turning OFF HDMI-CEC in the menus. it's called "Anynet+" on a Samsung. It's likely to be the only thing that can turn the tv back on, when it's supposed to stay off. This setting is located in: Settings > General > External Device Manager. Also check this setting, : Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Try either or both of those, and see if it doesn't fix the issue with powering off/on.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference in the different models of the QLED Series, and why would this affect me as a consumer?
Asked by karatemonkey21.
- A:Answer Q60 lots of color but narrow viewing angle, slower refresh rate. Q70 in between. Q80 has terrific color, superior viewing angle, and faster refresh rate for sports. Hope this helps. Q80 is the only one comparable to my plasma that gave out.

Q: QuestionI have read several review talking about how the q80 crushes blacks too much, sacrificing shadow detail and suppressing highlights. Is there a way to fix this in the settings, and does it then introduce more blooming as a result?
Asked by Orly.
- A:Answer Web site RTINGS.com. Lots of info about adjusting/calibrating all the models they evaluate, including the Samsung q80 series. Good site for 'how to' regardless of whether or not you agree with their reviews.
