A:Answer With an optical cable running (which is compatible as long as both have a place to plug it in) from the tv to the sound bar, all audio will play through the soundbar when it's turned on, when off all audio will play through the tv. As for the audio settings you have to to go to the tv menu while the soundbar is turned on and go to the audio settings.
