“Why do manufacturers not get that as the boomers are aging, we need a tv that the wife can listen on the tv speakers and we can listen on headphones? It needs to be simultaneous, without echo and needs headphone connectivity without recon every time.”

Hi frustrated - We've got just the solution for you! With Multi-output Audio, you can turn on both the TV speaker and Bluetooth headphones at the same time. When this function is active, you can set the volume of the Bluetooth headphone higher than the volume of the TV speaker. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio. ~ Samsung Specialist
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If U are using headphones & TV speakers at same time, of course U are gonna hear echo. Maybe U & your Wife both use wireless headsets or get better hearing aid. Check Specifications for that TV. Be sure headphone jack is included. Some higher end TVs don't have headphone jacks.
