• You should have an HDMI output on the Dish Network box. Use that, and leave the connection at the tv for the antenna.

• Yes! Your rooftop antenna would screw into the RF jack on the back for OTA (over the air) TV reception. Your Dish receiver would plug in with an HDMI cable. Simply press the Menu button ( looks like a house) and then press Connected devices. Select TV or the HDMI input that you plugged your Dish receiver into.
