Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It would be the same as rear vent but let me explain. If you chose top loader because of space 27” vs front loader 34 plus inches. Then you would still have to leave a 5” gap for semi rigid pipe to each around to the back and go into the wall vent. If you have a dryer vent box . The dryer can go all the way up to the wall leaving only a power cord width away from wall. The only exception is if your wall vent is in the middle of the two machines ( washer and dryer ) or the other side of the dryer ( side wall ) Then if u had a 90 degree elbow or do semi rigid pipe on a 45 and snug it down. The dryers side vents is about an inch away from rear of the machine and the rear vent is in the middle. Hope this helps
