A:Answer I spoke with Samsun about this and was told this model is exactly the same as the S90C. This model is basically a precursor model to the S90C that came out before it. According to Samsung, It uses slightly more power 440w vs 350w, (Best buys website shows their the same on the power department so I'm going with what Samsungs website says) It is also missing support for a HDR standard called HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) apparently its used for photographs mainly.
Consumer Reports ranks the 89c and the 90c Nearly Identical with the 90c having a score of 0.01 higher due to something about the digital TV tuner I think? But otherwise the reviews are identical. Almost word for word.
Found a forum discussion about the TV on RTINGS, apparently the Panel is WOLED in Europe and QD-OLED in US. For all intents and purposes this TV seems identical to the S90C sans the Film maker mode... which can be calibrated manually apparently.
