Hi, I purchased this for my M17x R3, and it works perfect. I would see absolutely no reason as to why it would not work. I’ve never had a problem with any solid state or hard drive in any computer being incompatible. I hope this helps. Have a great day.

Please try again later.if you notebook has a small hard drive or a 2.5" then yes it will work, you will just have to reinstall windows onto the ssd if you would like to use it, the only way it wouldn't work is if the connections were different but i doubt that unless your alien ware was more than 8 years old even then i doubt it wouldn't work, i recommend the 500 gb but here are 3 that should work
