The beverage zone has a proximity sensor that turns on the welcome light so you can see what is in it when you get close to your refrigerator. Blocking the glass door will hinder this feature. Leo

  • QuestionWhy wouldn’t the knock feature be working? In the store if you knocked on the door you could see what was in the fridge. Now that I have the fridge that isn’t working.

    • Answer Look at the bottom of the top doors and you will see a 1.25" gray line and if you touch this the doors will open automatically. You just need to bump it, and it will open.

  • QuestionHi, can you tell me how the water pitcher on this refrigerator works? Does it fill up the pitcher automatically? How do you get it to work? Looking at purchasing but have a friend that has one and they don't seem to be able to get it to work.

    • Answer You have to have the water hooked up and then you will get the pitcher to auto fill and get your ice maker to work. If you walk in front of the window, you can watch the water going into the pitcher if it's not already full. If the pitcher is empty and you stand in front of the window too long, it will stop filling until you step away. That is to make sure you don't open the door and try to remove the pitcher. I'm sure that is a safety feature.
