“Since this chrome book uses ChromeOS does anyone know if it gets updates regularly. Latest version is 62.0.3202.82, It was released November 3, 2017. Are there regular updates and are they pushed or are they installed manually.”

The Chromebook automatically gets updates when you are connected to the internet. The updates are installed whenever you turn the Chromebook off and restart it. There are significant updates at least once a month. Because the updating process is automatic, most people may not even notice them.
