• Yes it can . Samsung added this feature great brand. You not yhe only one that ask this ? Unlike the Sony not included these non Blue Ray DVD players.

• If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs). However, these units will only have the ability to work on US power grids. -MrSamsung
