It does have Family Hub 3.0. This is NOT the model that has the AKG front firing speaker. I just received mine a couple days ago. Specifically thinking that it was based on this response. IT IS NOT THE AKG SPEAKER--it is the older speaker that fires directly down into the flex zone drawer trim. Yes, you can tell it sounds like crap because of the way it is facing.
