Any reviews for how the enamel paint holds up around the burners?   (4 Answers)

There aren't many reviews for this oven yet, but one I read said the black enamel paint on the cooktop was bubbling up around the burners after only 60 days. Does anyone have reviews for it after more than two months? The guy who had the issue contacted Samsung to no avail. Makes me wary of their warranty....

Mine is fine. You do have to be careful cleaning it and it shows streaks easily so it takes forever to get it shiny for someone like me who can't stand streak. I have to shine it even if I boil water. It does look great though. I am using "Weiman Glass Cook Top cleaner and polish". very gentle and gets rid of any grease without leaving a scratch.

If not cooking at two different temperatures, what's best?   (2 Answers)

If I am not cooking at two different temperatures, is it best to take out the divider and use the whole oven instead of using just one section? Or is it OK to normally use only one section? Also, if I do take out the divider to use the whole oven, does it matter which set of controls I use - upper or lower? Or do I need to set both upper and lower to the same settings?

            Answer

Personally we keep the divider in. I sort of figure the smaller the area to heat, the more efficient the operation. It is okay to normally use the larger over but it will result in a slightly less economical operation. With the divider out, use the upper controls. The left controls indicate that operation. Do not use both. unless the divider is in place.

Where do you keep/store the flex duo divider when not in use?   (5 Answers)

                Answer

Hi Aligaterr, Unlike the Electric Flex Duo models, the Gas Flex Duo Oven doesn't have a built-in storage slot for the divider. Many people find that they leave the divider in place most of the time and remove it only when cooking large dishes, like for roasting a turkey. Using the upper or lower oven only for most meals can save energy and time. When the divider is removed, some people store it alongside their cookie and baking sheets. Thanks for your question! Answer

Hi MALTESE-1, The NX58J7750SS and other Samsung Gas Ranges do have sealed burners, which prevents crumbs and other spills from falling underneath the cook top, making it difficult to clean. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

In a review I read that there is not room to cook a turkey if using the dual oven function. Is this true?   (1 Answer)

                Answer

Thanks for the question. The NX58J7750SG is designed for flexibility so you can use it as a single, large, 5.8 cu ft oven when cooking large items, or as two smaller ovens when the large space isn't necessary. Whether you can roast a turkey in Dual Oven mode depends on the size of the turkey. - Ms. Samsung
