• Yes, this watch is smaller than the Gear S2 watch. Also you can choose from a lot of different watch faces both free and for purchase from the wearable app.

• Yes, you can change watch faces with a simple "long press" on the center of the watch. Some of the watch faces are customizable also. You can choose a style you like and just change the colors. There are also watch faces online that you can download if you aren't happy with the 12 styles that are pre-loaded on the watch. This watch is smaller than the Galaxy Watch, but I'm not sure about the Gear S2.
