No the watch doesn't include a speaker on it. You can however dial people through the watch and talk to them through a connected bluetooth headset. If you want to make calls on your watch you'll have to go with the more expensive Samsung watches. ($299+)

No, you can not make calls from the watch. You can initiate calls from your watch and you can answer calls from your watch but you will need your phone. You could have bt earbuds on and your phone in your pocket and control everything from your watch though.
