• Yes. Swing by Swing is the app that worked with the original Gear Fit. I've been reading up on the GPS capabilities and it says that the Fit 2 will show you distances without having to put your phone in your pocket.

• It purports to have a GPS on it. But I haven't tested that functionality - no decent app that utilizes this feature.

• I havent figured out a way to eben integrate to a phone app but it would be great.

• I don't believe they have a gear app that supports that function yet. The Gear Fit2 does use GPS via google map while you walk or run.

• Yes, I've taken this device out for a run without my phone, and the GPS feature tracked where I was going without an aid of a bluetooth connection, just be sure to go into the settings and turn on the GPS feature.
