Only Bluetooth 4.2 compatible heart rate monitors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think the OP is asking about if it'll jive with other ANT+ accepting devices. For instance, could you wear a Suunto Ambit, and not wear a HR strap (use the SGF2 instead) to get heart readings. That would allow you to use other platforms like Movescount instead of Samsung's proprietary platform. I don't see any mention of ANT+ anywhere on Samsung's site, so I am guessing not...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.THAT is a great question. Looks like it's BT only though at this point. If I'm wrong though (which I would be VERY happy about), please feel free to comment. If it was ANT+ compatible it opens the door to other cross-platform integration -- Suunto Movescount as an example.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No I doubt it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if your phone is compatible with ant you're fine, this device will show the heart rate picked up from your wrist ... it negates the need for a chest strap So no this device will not read data from a chest strap, but you don't need the chest strap any longer .... reviews show a discrepancy of +/- 2-3 bpm
