I would not wear this watch in a sauna although it is water resistant.

I feel that the combination of heat and humidity could be devastating for any electronic device.

Yes, at your own risk! Water resistant, not water proof! Even the cell phones! Ment for when it falls in water, rain, washing hands, toilet, .... it will still be fine. Leave it there long enough, and see if the will replace it! Not! Warrantee, and read the malicious part!

Wearing in the sauna doesn't sound like a good idea. I think the device would become very hot and could potentially burn flesh.

They aren't really designed to get to wet and after awhile the band starts to separate, best to take it off.
