• Don't know how they compare but the fit 2 seems to be rather accurate

• I have actually tracked the same area after walking with my car and the distance was spot on.

• No....borderline horrible. I don't count steps so it's not an option I need.

• yes, My wife had the first gear fit and it was good. But this one is way better, it is very accurate. I walked 10 paces to test it and it marked 10 paces.

• Step counter works fine, but the flights of stairs counter is horrible
