Can u use the gear fit 2 with an older Samsung 3 phone? null

Not if it has less then 1.5GBs of free memory on the internal memroy.

As per Samsung's site, "Compatible with select devices using Android 4.4 and later with at least 1.5GB RAM. Supported devices may vary by carrier and device. Some features may not be available. For best results, connect with compatible Samsung Galaxy devices." The Samsung Galaxy S3 only has 1GB of RAM, so therefore is not supported.
