“I need to leave my phone off while at work. Is this a true watch or is it getting its time info from the phone. Will my steps my tracked and synced up later. Thanks”

it works as a watch, if you change time zones it will not update unless your phone is on.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes & No - Yes The watch technically gets the time from the phone but once the phone is shut off, the time stays on your watch. I turn off my phone or have left it at home, but the time is always write. It will only change if you have it off for days at a time. The steps will stay and then once you blue tooth it to your phone, it will sync.

On order to view weather information, you will need to have the location setting enabled on your phone, other than that the watch is capable of doing the rest through WiFi. As for steps, my Samsung phone and watch do not sync together. If I take steps without having my phone with me, the steps on the watch will be completely different from the steps taken on my phone. Overall, it's a great watch.
