How does this compare with the FitBit? null

This is a smartwatch so it will allow you more access to apps and notifications then a FitBit will.

My husband has the fitbit blaze and I think it doesn't compare to the gear s2. The only thing I like about the blaze is the battery life but the gear can do so much more.

This s2 and other fit bit pretty much do the same imo..it's all about personal preference but for me the Samsung s2 is more convenient for me. I can get what a fit bit can do with Samsung s2 it records step, sleep etc but connected to the phone via bluetooth I can check emails, msgs and play music too. Everything is controlled by the watch with touching the phone. As a newbie to wearable if you like new technology this watch is awesome if you have the $$ get it but if your looking just to track only exercise and other fitness stuff and don't want break the bank get a fit bit...imo.

The Gear 2 give you more options than the Fitbit

Doesn't monitor your sleep. Otherwise will track the same things asuch a fit bit.

This doesnt compare with a fitbit. They are in two separate leagues. This is a smart watch where you can receive calls, text, reply to text, get emails, listen to music, etc in addition to counting steps, logging water and coffee and tracking exercise... all on this device. Trust me... this blows fitbit out of the water but they are completely different items with two different agendas.
