- Answer Hi Sessions! By default, Samsung TV remotes will control the volume of Samsung soundbars connected via optical cable. If it isn't working, be sure the soundbar is powered on, and then press and hold the WOOFER button up until "ON - TV REMOTE" appears on the display (about 5 seconds). ^Tim

QuestionHow do you connect to the Samsung wireless rear speaker kit ?

- Answer Hi Momo! Use the color-coded speaker wires to connect the SWA-9100S rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. Plug the wireless receiver module power cord into an electrical outlet and into the wireless receiver module to turn on the wireless receiver module. Turn off your soundbar and press the Up button on the remote for 5 seconds. The ID SET message will appear on the soundbar for a short time and then disappear. After the ID SET process, the soundbar power is automatically turned on. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the soundbar and the wireless receiver module. Should you need additional assistance, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for Soundbars), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. ^Tim

- Answer You can. You can also just turn down the subwoofer. The volume for it is on the remote. Use a forward/backward motion-like a joystick.

- Answer No, you cannot use this with any tv. You will need either a bluetooth capable tv or an optical connection. More importantly, without HDMI ARC, you will not be able to use the tv remote to control volume. Even if you have a samsung tv, from what I've read, you got a 50/50 chance of syncing the soundbar to the tv... I returned mine even though it does have excellent sound! :)

- Answer Hi Gramps! You will be able to utilize the optical audio cable to connect the HW-A450 to a 6 series Samsung. In order to wirelessly connect the soundbar to the TV, the TV needs to support Bluetooth audio; this feature is available on the TU7000 Crystal UHD TV or above. ^Tim

- Answer If you're looking to pair the sound bar via a Bluetooth connection, Vizio doesn't currently support this function. Vizio TV's only support Bluetooth LE, used to pair the SmartCast app to smart phones/tablets for use as a remote. This sound bar would need to be connected via optical cable.

- Answer My is connect thru wifi. The subwoofer has a small button on the back, you can try by pushing it,there is a red and blue lights see if they lightsup. And you are right the control that comes with it dosnt control the volume in my case I use the tv control or my cable supplier control. Hope this gelp you in some way.

- Answer If you are using the receiver to add other devices for sound, you need to have the receiver connected to the soundbar. Best Buy sells an adapter for devices that are not blue tooth that you can connect to blue tooth devices. I have the adapter for my Onkyo receiver that is not blue-tooth capable...

- Answer Hi Isaac! If connected to a Samsung TV, the soundbar will turn off with the TV. The soundbar also features an auto power off function to assist in energy conservation meaning the bar will power off after a short period of time when not in use. ^Tim
