• A:Answer It sure can, HUNNY12! On the display panel there is an icon that looks like a t-shirt with a plus sign. When this icon is lit up, the washer can be paused, and the lid opened to add or remove items. When you are finished, you will need to press the "Start" button again to resume the cycle. ^Jecca

• A:Answer If you are referring to the top of the washer, you need to height adjust to make it flush with counter (2 3/4" max increase). It comes with a rubber flap at bottom to cover floor. It also has a kick plate that you install behind the rubber flap to protect guts and reduces noise.

Q: QuestionIs there a kick plate in the back of the dishwasher. If so, what is the clearance? There is a metal plate covering the pipes leading to the boiler heating system baseboards on the wall that I would like to install the dishwasher. Thanks!

• A:Answer The outside edge of my countertop is 25.5". The washer is recessed 3/8". There is room behind washer for drain line and electrical cord maybe 2". Thin metal removable plates are on the back and sides. You'll need to provide electrical cord (12-2) hardwired to panel in the front lower corner of washer. You'll also need to provide a 3/8 water line with a 90°. They sell kits with 3/4 plastic connector and a braided waterline. Washer comes with already connected drain hose that can be cut to fit multiple connections 7/8",1 " etc. It's a nice washer, very quiet. Good luck.

• A:Answer I would say it is the same depth The agitator space is what makes it 4.4 on this model without the agitator it is a 4.5 I would look into this Samsung - 5.0 cu. ft. Capacity Top Load Washer with Active WaterJet - Brushed Black also in white it is more money at $679 but it has a feature called an EZ access tub that they just probably make the tub wider on this model but the bottom is higher up I see a lot of reviews of people that do have trouble reaching the bottom on a lot of washing machines also the way these new tubs are designed they actually lower The tub as water fills in with weight for the sensors to read how much clothing are in the washers. Hope I may have helped.
