QuestionUpgrading to SSD: is it a complete replacement of the current HDD, or is there a separate slot for the SSD? Also, what type of slot? (2.5" vs. mSATA)

- Answer Jon, there is an available M.2 slot for the SSD. You do not need to take out the existing HDD. I forget all the exact details but this is the model number of the Samsung SSD I installed: MZ-N5E500BW. There is a noticeable speed difference, while worth the cost and effort

QuestionAre the keyboard key labels translucent? In other words, do the letters & symbols glow, or just a glow around the entire square?

- Answer There is a glow around the whole key, along with the letters and symbols being translucent. Hopefully the picture I uploaded will give a good idea of what to expect (in a dark room at max light setting). You can also select three levels of illumination intensity, along with turning the feature off. JR

QuestionA few people have said there is an M.2 Slot and I even contacted Samsung Support online and they confirmed there is an M.2 slot. So I took apart the laptop to take a look and either I'm blind or people are commenting on the wrong model.

- Answer It is only on the 15.6 inc i7 model i believe, it is there it was under a golden ribbon thing (not really sure what it was) i had to snap back the black plastic to remove it so i could access the m.2 slot, easy install it took about an hour

QuestionI took apart this laptop and could not find the additional slot that everyone is talking about. There is only one slot where the current HDD sits and no room to add an SSD (from what I could see). Where is this mysterious additional slot?

- Answer the additional SSD M.2 slot is under the flat wire, the flat wire is about 2 inches long, you have to remove one side of flat wire in order to see or install the M.2 SSD. what I remember is the M.2 slot just up above of the Hard drive location little bit.

- Answer This is a full Metal case laptop. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would by it again. The only thing I would change would be the hard drive. The 1 terabyte drive slows the system down on startup and when opening certain large applications.

- Answer I have an older Epson Workforce 610 All-in-One printer that I use with my Samsung Notebook, and it prints wirelessly without any difficulty. I'm sure this Samsung notebook would work with any wireless printer. Just make sure you have your printer connected to your wireless routers network and that you have the wireless network version of your HP printers software installed on your notebook. You might go to HP's support site to download the latest software for your printer and to get detailed instructions on how to setup your HP printer wirelessly. Hope that answers your question.

- Answer Yes, this laptop has a separate graphics card from Nviidia (940 MX) with separate video ram (2 GB) set aside for its use. There is built in graphics as well, but the Nvidia card should run graphics intensive programs and games well.

- Answer Regarding the back lit keyboard...Open "Samsung Settings" and then "Input" from the left menu. There you can adjust the brightness, it may be set so dark that you don't see it. There is also a setting for how long you want it to stay on. Hope this helps.

- Answer Yes This Intel i7 with the 12+Gigs of ram are more then enough to handle adobe products. I haven't used Photoshop on this device yet. But i have a 4th Gen i5 with 4GB of ram and intergrated graphics (Intel 520); and i had no issues when using Photoshop Ever.
