QuestionI just bought this for Vlogging and video editing, recently I also downloaded a game and it passes all requirements for optimized performance EXCEPT my gsp, I dont know anything about laptops but I'm assuming the GSP is my graphics card, can I upgrade?

- Answer I had the same problem when I went to install the Windows Mixed Reality for the Odyssey HMD VR headset. The Graphics card is definitely a weak spot for this laptop. I was told by a computer tech that the graphics card cannot be replaced because it is part of the motherboard. He said it might help to update the driver for it.

- Answer Yes the Notebook 9 Pro can be used for gaming but the types of games you can play depends on which model you have. The 13" models only have the Intel integrated graphics so you can only play basic 3D games. The Notebook 9 Pro 15" machines have an ATI 540 with 2GB of dedicated RAM, which will allow you to play more GPU intensive 3D games. Although the 540 may not play newer game titles as well as a Gaming machine would if the game has high memory and gpu processing requirements. The video resolution you play games at will also have an impact on the performance. You should be able to play newish titles at lower resolutions with med/low settings and get playable frame rates. The Notebook 9 Pro 15" isn't really marketed as a gaming machine, it's more of a business class and art/design orientated machine. If you're not into digital art or 3D design work etc. using a digital stylus/pen then the Notebook 9 Pro probably isn't the best choice in your case. The Wacom EMR pen (Samsung S-Pen) technology is what makes the Notebook 9 Pro pretty unique in this class of machine.

- Answer I'm used to a 13.3" platform, but this laptop is not much different. It has a bit of a smaller footprint than the other 15" laptops and the weight it just under 4lbs.

QuestionCan someone please confirm the weight of this laptop? The Samsung site shows what seems to be the older rendition of this laptop, and Consumer Reports says that it weighs like 5 or 6lbs!!! I thought it was supposed to be under 4lbs.

QuestionI'm confused by the 1.8GHz base processor speed. Intel specs show max turbo boost speed on 8th gen i7 as 4.0GHz. Comparable 7th gen i7 laptops have 2.7GHz as the base speed, similar max turbo, some slightly less turbo. Why base speed lower on a quad-core?

- Answer This question is very old and unanswered, hopefully you found some help I also own and have owned many Samsung phones, when i was researching i was exclusively only looking at Asus, HP and Dell laptops But you need to go into the store and handle the laptops, i fell in love with the Samsung and love it! No one can ever say there is a better laptop, all in what you like!

- Answer What software package are you using? Some art packages work best with the WinTab driver which Samsung don't provide. You can install the WinTab driver that Microsoft provide in the Surface 4 downloads. I'm not sure if that will help with palm rejection, I haven't experienced any problems with that?
