A:Answer At first glance, it does seem misleading. It's true that the camera itself is not wireless, but the base station it connects to, is. The setup is like this: Camera is connected via 26' cable to the included wireless base station. The base station gets power by plugging into an outlet--then connects to your wifi. As long as you have an outlet within 26' of the camera, and a decent wifi signal, there is a lot of placement flexibility.
