This will work with that hub, but this sensor does not tell you when a door opens, it only trips when it is within a set distance from the hub indicating a person has returned home so you can use in a routine to turn on lights or turn up/down thermostat.

It's a fantastic tool for knowing whether or not someone or something is in house. if you need to know whether or not your door has been opened or closed and you need a multi-purpose sensor or an open and closed sensor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it with the Samsung Smarthings Hub V.2. I know there are some sensors (motion, arrival and door/window) that only work with the ADT hub. This sensor can trigger automatic functions, like notifying when the person carrying it gets in wireless range of the hub, turning lights ON/OFF of if you have a smart door lock installed, you can lock it or unlock it.
