Water line hose hookup is standard sise for dishwasher then whatever size you need for your water supply size.

A:AnswerYou have to hard wire into the dishwasher ,the install kit has a 120 line plug on it ,I had to cut it off and strip wires and wire nut onto my existing power line .

Yes, the dishwasher has a protective plastic covering to help minimize or eliminate scratches during delivery and installation. Most of the time this is removed after installation.
