A:AnswerI WOULD EXCHANGE IT, MAYBE YOU GOT A BAD PRODUCT. I HAVE THE EXACT SAME ONE AND ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! NO ISSUES!!! DONT GIVE UP WITH SAMSUNG, THIS PLAYER IS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD AND I LOVE IT
A:AnswerNo Bluray players are region free unless they have been hacked. If you are looking to play videos from a particular country, consider buying a player from that country in addition to a US player. DC
A:AnswerMy unit has a small light on the right side near the top of the player. This light glows green when the disc is playing, and it glows red when the unit is plugged in but not playing a disc. The light is visible from the front of the player, but it is quite small and somewhat difficult to see if you are not close to the unit. I suspect that Samsung used such a small light because many people find larger lights distracting while trying to watch a movie.
A:AnswerWhen you pause the movie you can just press play and it resume from the pause spot of the movie. If you press stop all the way the only way to resume where you left off at is to wait for the resume Option to appear in a box below the screen, which will say resume or Menu.
A:AnswerI haven't had that issue with mine, I would say just recheck your connection on your wifi. The wifi bubble should be wide enough to cover your whole house to a certain amount of feet and once you reach that end of the cover area of your wifi bubble you will have connections issues via 4k streaming etc.
A:AnswerI would convert those "movie" files to a .mkv or MT2s extensions instead. Your current player may recognize at those extensions. There is software available to apply those conversions. Remember, Google is a reliable search engine! :-D
A:AnswerIt should. The player and the TV being the same brand should recognize each other right way. I have a Vizio and it was able to ID the player, model and even some simple control.
A:AnswerNegative. Since you purchased this unit in the United State, the player is set to Regions A for BluRay, and Region 1 for DVD's. With that said, you can purchase software for your computer that will allow you to manually switch regions.
