“Door locking mechanism Was the locking mechanism on the door fixed or not, I"m preparing to buy a dishwasher and unless I get a Yes or a No not an "upgrade" answer I will buy an LG despite the fact at it won't match my chef collection range. I have read numerous complaints about the locking mechanism and I am not prepared to deal with another kitchen leak if the door lock on the unit fails. Was it fixed and WHAT was is it replaced with. Thanks!”

• There is no issue with the door. It opens and closes easy enough, and there is no leaking.

• Hi Babette, There are different factors that can prevent the door from locking properly, including installation or something blocking it from the inside, like the rack. When installed and used properly, the door on the DW80J7550US Dishwasher does close and lock correctly. We appreciate your consideration, Ms. Samsung
