Solid Dishwasher
|Posted .This is a solid dishwasher, for anyone. The Waterfall technology is very helpful for thoroughly washing off dishes, pans, silverware, etc. My only concern (not critical, because it seems like most dishwashers today are similar) is the drying stage of the wash cycle. If you choose the standard dry function for your wash, the dishes are left pretty wet after the cycle. There is an "extra dry" option, but Samsung does not recommend using it regularly. It uses about twice the electricity, when compared to the standard dry option, and I can't imagine it is easy on the machine to use this function regularly. Other than that, I like this dishwasher a lot. It looks very good and modern, especially when next to other Samsung appliances.

Terrible product
Posted .I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy over the Memorial Day weekend 2015. It was delivered to my house and installed on July 5, 2015 . The dishwasher ran one cycle and is now reading an error code of "LC". This thing has not even been out of the box for more than 48 hours and is already causing problems. I have researched Samsung dishwasher over the internet and it seems like I am not the only one who is having a problem of this type. this seems to be a common occurrence with Samsung dishwashers. I additionally purchased a Samsung gas range, above range microwave, and a refrigerator all being Samsung products. I am not so sure I trust their appliances now especially if the dishwasher won't even run one cycle being given me an error code. I still have all the other appliances I purchased in the box at my house and I am still within the 45 days of taking delivery so I am probably going to return the others but I am stuck with the dishwasher especially since Best Buy is quick to point out that they are not liable for for any problems I am having. I think I will try to deal with someone who wants to help.

Posted .Dear Highpursuit1561,
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. Since the Leakage Check error occurred so soon after the DW80J7550US was installed, it's possible this is related to the installation rather than an issue with the Dishwasher itself, and additional information will be needed to determine whether service is advisable. Please call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you in finding a solution.
Thank you,
Ms. Samsung

Most convenient dishwasher
|Posted .Highly recommended!! 5 stars are well deserved! I compared dishwashers on bestbuy.com before going to the store. After I read the description about the water wall I was fascinated. In the store I checked the inside which really surprised me since the pictures online don't do justice at all. The description wasn't very good either but shopping hands on was a surprise!!! The top basket can get raised up by moving handles on the sides of the basket. It gives more space on the bottom for higher items like cookie sheets or stock pots. The top basket has sprinkler system for washing like most dishwashers have. The bottom basket gets cleaned with the water wall sprayer, amazing!!! All plate separators can lay flat, silver ware baskets can be removed. Part of the top basket can be flattened out as well. Bottom basket can wash separatly without top basket washing. That's the best part of the dishwasher! By only washing a few dishes in the bottom basket cuts down on water and energy. Child safety lock can be turned on before washing. I am very impressed with this item and I feel like I bought the Cadillac of dishwashers! It also runs so quiet I had to put my hands against the door since I couldn't hear if it started already. Wash selection and start gets pressed before closing the door. Great quality, great price!

Q: QuestionJust got this unit and my dishes come out wet, is it a bad unit or are all of them like this?
Asked by Blake.
- A:Answer Use the dry + cycle and it should solve your problem.

Q: QuestionMy Bosch dishwasher is draining water but massive amounts of suds from Cascade dish liquid are left in the washer. We removed the filter and soaked it with CLR but the problem continues. What can we do?
Asked by elady.
- A:Answer NEVER use liquid soap in a dishwasher! It will "super-suds" all over the place!

Q: QuestionWhen washing is completed why is residue from the dirty dishes left in the bottom of the dishwasher
Asked by Lou.
- A:Answer Hi Lou, Thanks for your question. There are a few possible explanations for what you're experiencing with your DW80J7550UG Dishwasher involving such factors as water pressure and temperature, or the drain hose may not be routed correctly. I'd suggest reviewing the information on pages 29-30 of the User Manual (see advice for particles left on dishes and film in dishwasher), and on page 19 of the Install Guide (see Figure 12 on that page in particular). In addition, it may be time to clean the filter (see page 26 of the User Manual). Thank you, Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionThis has NSF-Certified Sanitization Cycle. Does is sanitized at 165 degrees?
Asked by alan.
- A:Answer Hi, Alan, the cycle that is NSF certified is the Normal Cycle with the Sanitize option selected. With the Sanitize option selected, the water temperature is increased to 162 ˚F (72 ˚C) in the final rinse cycle for high-temperature sanitization. ^Rosi

Q: QuestionWhy are there 2 "depth" measurements listed (27 in and cut out depth of 24 in)?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thanks for your interest. The actual depth of the main body of the DW80J7550US is 24-2/3" to fit in a 24" cabinet cut out. Some other models measure 27" including the handle, which the DW80J7550US doesn't have. - Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionThe waterfall function on my dishwasher does not work. All my lower dishes come out dirty and have to be transferred to the top rack just to get clean.
Asked by Argland.
- A:Answer I have a similar situation. The waterwall carriage is prone to a few issues. First, its magnet becomes weakened, and the carriage losses track of where it is in the compartment. From what I understand, it is not traveling front/back to clean the lower rack. In addition to the pealing finish and the rusted upper rack, we are trading in our Samsung appliances.
