- Answer The sandisk flash drive plugged into the lightning port on my iPhone 6. If your ipad has the same lightning connector as an iPhone 6 than yes it will work but you first have to find out what port is on your ipad. GoodLuck!

QuestionDo the photos and videos keep the image information from the iphone ie. Date, location. When I copy photos to a regular external drive the images lose all identifying info and chronological order making it difficult to find specific photos.

- Answer Hi, please be informed that only the date of creation (the date the picture was clicked) of the photo is transferred with the photos that are transferred. The location and other metadata is not transferred as they are stored in a different file.

- Answer Please allow me to inform you that this Flash Drive does not download duplicate pictures from your iOS device until or unless you do a manual backup. However, you can sort pictures using sorting options of the iXpand Drive App.
