Questiondoes the player have restricted volumeis the volume set at a restricted level? i know some players only go up to 30 on the volume setting.

- Answer All MP3s have restricted volume including this one, however this unit is plenty loud. I typically play it at 1/2 volume on a normal basis. This was never a problem for me but I do not play very loud rock music. European versions from my understanding have more restricted volume due to Europe regs.

- Answer Yes! Best Buy sells a auxillary cable that will hook up the device to the aux plug in your car. They are $14.99. They are in the section where MP3 players are. I bought one and was disappointed in the volume until I realized that you have to turn the volume up on the device then the volume on your radio! Duh. Hope this helps!

QuestionDurability of clip designStuck between the Sansa Clip and Shuffle. I'm specifically looking into these kinds of players for their clip design for working out and sports related activity. The Sansa "clip" looks a little more flimsy than the clip designed for the Shuffle. It would be great to have twice as much memory than the shuffle but, if the clip gives out it kind of defeats the purpose for my need. Thoughts please...

- Answer I prefer the Sansa clip over the shuffle because it has a screen. It's super small and very light but I would pick this one hands down. As for your concern over the clip breaking, the player is light enough that you could use a lanyard to wear it around your neck. Since the player is small and light, you wouldn't be able to tell whether or not you lost it if you clipped it on or if the clip for some reason broke off. Hope that helps.

- Answer There is a choice for Radio on the menu. Not all mp3 players have the feature but Sansa does.

QuestionChargingI was wondering if you can buy a wall mount to charge it or does it have to be by computer? I wanted this for work and don't really have access to a computer to charge and really just wanted to leave it there since that's where I'll be using it all the time

- Answer Plug the USB cord (which is really short) that came with it into any USB port on your computer, and plug the other end into your Sansa. Why would you want or need a wall mount? The thing weighs a few grams, and, because the cord is so short, it has to be right by the computer.

QuestionCan songs (say a meditation) be put on repeat? Is there a sleep timer?Looking for something that I can use also to listen to things that help you go to sleep. I have a no name brand that allows you to repeat once or more and also has a timer to shut off after you fall asleep to save battery.

- Answer Depends on how old your daughter is. I know a great one to recommend but unfortunately, it's not sold at Best Buy. However, if I were to buy a new one for myself or as a gift, The new Sansa or the Sony are great. Both are a good size with screens and features and also are very easy to use.

QuestionDo I recharge the unit from a computer or the mains here in the US? In India where household 220v?How do I recharge the battery? From a computer or from mains - I just got the basic unit without any special accessories for battery recharging. (2) I will be travelling to India with this unit where the common household current is at 212-220V as in UK. I suppose the local computers work at the same voltage as here and I could use a local computer to recharge my MP3 player. Please confirm

- Answer Use your computer USB since USB output is a standard level worldwide. Just make sure your computer power supply is rated for the voltage in the wall socket!
