QuestionDoes this work with a ps4, because my ps4 won’t let me play any games, it’s kicking me off because my file is corrupted? Idk but I looked at a tutorial and it said to save to a usb storage device but their too expensive so hopefully this will work.

- Answer yes. ps4 can format it for exfat/fat32 or any pc can so the ps4 can use it. it should already be formatted in exfat/fat32.

QuestionDoes it have heating issues?

- Answer Yes. These USB SSD drives (I have two) are abysmal for write performance. They heat up a LOT when in use and their write performance declines rapidly. Trying to write a 21G file from my local SSD to this USB SSD takes over an hour, but if I just transfer the same file from the same local SSD to an SMB (network) share over 802.11ac wireless, it takes about 4 minutes. Other SSD drives connected to this same computer and transferring this same file that I've used, even from SanDisk (e.g. a 128G microSSD attached via a microSSD -> USB converter), worked MUCH faster and reliably for writes. Read performance appears to be decent and does not heat up the drives as much. The above is copied from my review that I just wrote before I saw your question.

QuestionWhat is the actual read/write speed of this device? The description refers to "up to 10 Gigabytes, but that doesn't tell me anything. (10 Gigabytes per what??)

- Answer Jerry, please look closer at the specifications: it says speeds up to 10 Gbps, which translates to gigaBITs per second. Not gigaBYTEs, which would be GBps. Which makes its maximum transfer speed around 1250 megabytes per second, or just 1.25 GBps. Seeing as this is also referring to the new USB 3.1 standard, your results will vary if you don't have a USB 3.1 compliant port.
