Q: QuestionI need to suspend the TV from higher up on the wall. I don't mind any of the bracket showing above the TV. Can this bracket hold a TV suspended with the bracket mounted to the wall 18" above the TV?

• A:Answer If I understand what u are say the answer is no. The way this is setup is it's flush to the wall. The locks hold it into place they are really design to hold a TV, just keep it from moving. This mount is designed for 180 degree viewing angel and flush to the wall

Q: QuestionWhen this mount clicks into the lock position I can still lift it forward from the bottom without releasing the pull strings. It clicks when I push it back down into position but it doesn’t lock it. Is this normal?
