- Answer not quite sure why mine does this, but it doesn't fully close. the top of the arm runs into the wall bracket so it sits out several inches

QuestionHow to use the lateral adjustments?The wall mount is level but the tv is not. We have tried to make the adjustments, but when the tv is extended and placed back flush on the wall it tilts to one side. When we level the tv against the wall then it tilts when the tv is extended. How would we fix that? We have made adjustments to the two screws on the back and we still have that problem.

- Answer From your description it sounds like you are having some issues with the weight of your TV. Some TVs weigh more on one side than the other. Often simply sliding the monitor brackets in the opposite direction laterally can often cure this problem to better balance the center of gravity on the TV. Your best course of action would be to call Sanus customer service so they can walk you through steps to fix this issue. - Answer there are two knobs on the arm that is closest to the bracket that you have to loosen to tilt then tighten. however.... for my 70 lbs panasonic it just plain doesn't hold. very frustrating.

- Answer The Samsung UN55D8000Y has a 400mm X 400mm VESA pattern, which should fit this mount fine. One of the good things about this mount is they give you spacers in the box. This way if the mount blocks an audio or video input or output, you just add the spacers to space the bracket away from the TV to allow room for your cables.

QuestionWhats the best mount for in between sized tvs?I have a 46in Samsung LCD. I see that the VMF220-B1 holds tvs from 26" to 46" and the VLF220-B1 holds tvs from 37" to 56". My tv size is at the top end of the specs for the smaller bracket and right in the middle of the specs for the larger bracket. Would my tv be more stable using the mount for a 37" to 56" tv or is the mount for 26" to 46" sufficient for a 46" tv?

- Answer It holds my 55LE5400 splendidly, and the difference between our TVs is 63.5 lbs vs. 79 lbs, so I'd say it'll do fine. However, the tilt adjustment sucks, so I'd look into a different mount anyway if you plan on using the tilt function at all.

- Answer The LF220 is compatible with your Dynex TV. It is difficult to estimate the exact degree angle but with a 40 inch TV you should be able to get very near the full 75 degree swivel angle both left and right.

- Answer No, the centerline of most 40 inch TVs is between 18 inches to 20 inches. This bracket only extends about 17 inches, so you can get close, but it will not go 90%. Depending on the centerline of your specific model (the shorter the better) you may be able to get about 80%, but I don't think you will get any more.
