NVMe drives support up to 10 Gbps transfer speeds for faster throughput when connected to the station. Important Compatibility Notes: Not compatible with SSDs that have heat sinks attached. Not compatible with double-sided SSDs due to enclosure fit constraints.

QuestionI use multiple laptops and OS'. The info and image implies that it is able to support 2 extra displays-2 screens and the laptop- for both mac and windows. BUT there's the note that the M1/M2 still only supports 1? So that's not correct for macOS?

We can confirm that the Satechi - Dual Dock with NVMe SSD enclosure can support a maximum of two external monitors at a time as long as the host computer can natively support it, this applies to both Mac and Windows computers. Note that the base M1/M2 MacBooks is limited in supporting one external monitor at a time, the Dual Dock can work with two external displays when paired with a MacBook Pro with M2 Pro or Max chips.
