Q: QuestionI bought this Satechi usb-c slim multiport adapter for my iPad Pro. Please explain how to connect a RJ45 to this adapter. The Ethernet port on my adapter is too small for a RJ45.

• A:Answer To use the Ethernet port, you have to pop the lower half of the RJ45 port (i.e. the side with the tab) outward. Then you will be able to insert the RJ45 connector into the port at an angle. It is a clever mechanical design to make the adapter body slim looking.

• A:Answer If you mean wirelessly, then absolutely. So long as you connect your printer to the same wifi/ethernet network that your computers are connected to, then you can discover, use, and connect to the printer from any device in your house. Using this method, there's no limit on how many devices you can connect to the printer. If you mean physically, using the provided cords for the printer, you can only directly connect it to one computer at a time.

• A:Answer Cable is fixed into the adapter and cant be switched out. If your looking or possibly gonna be needing a longer one i would suggest to look for another option with longer cable.

• A:Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out to Satechi. We can confirm our Type-C adapters were designed primarily for MacBooks but will be compatible with many Windows PCs. Keep in mind, there are different types of USB-C ports, and that our hub adapter requires either a Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2 port or a Thunderbolt 3 port. If the USB-C port on your device does not utilize DisplayPort over USB-C with Alternative Mode, the video output on our adapters may not function properly. If the PC does not utilize Power Delivery 2.0 (or 3.0), pass-through charging will not function through our Type-C adapters. Also, the adapter support HDMI 4k @ 60Hz max output.
