“Does this hub allow an hdmi connected monitor to be set vertically? I've purchased numerous hubs and dongles to which I ended up returning because it wouldn't allow me to set the display of my external monitor to 90 degrees. (FYI using a MBP 2018).”

• One monitor can portrait through this device. One monitor can portrait through a port on the laptop. The additional HDMI port will not allow it. (Don't know about MBP2018 specifically, I'm on 2020 MBP M1

• You should be able to, but you'll have to adjust the display in your system preferences to reflect the angle you want.
