• A:Answer It is easy to use. The cautions I would have are that the seat is a racing style saddle so it is narrow. The flywheel is heavy and there is no handbrake so you have to slow with your legs while still on the pedals. If you stop pedaling while at speed the inertia of the flywheel will give you a bit of a push. Last the bike seated position leans over in a spin style meaning you can’t really sit up tall with your hands on the handlebars.

Q: QuestionCan I use the bike without an app? Can I just hop on and ride for ninety minutes and adjust my resistance as I see fit? Will it display my workout figures? Or can you only use the bike through an app?

• A:Answer You certainly do not need an app for a workout. The IC4 monitor tracks all of your activity....time, distance, calories, speed, cadence, etc. I ride with the peloton app most of the time, but enjoy my own workout for the longer rides.

• A:Answer They didn't even bother to call me to notify that there would be no delivery. Got an email, though, in the middle of the night saying oopsie... Had been waiting patiently since the order date of 6/18 for a delivery on 7/24. End of August is what they're now saying. Super not happy!

• A:Answer The box for the IC4 is 40" x 33.5" x 10" and weighs about 100 pounds. I had to drive an hour to a store that had this in stock so I wanted to make sure it would fit in my car. Luckily it did fit. Takes two people to move it around though because it's very heavy.

• A:Answer You have to be quick on the draw. I just randomly checked last night 6/8 at 3 am and they had in stock so I jumped on it. Checked once again this morning and they had already been sold out. Seems like they put in in stock every so often but have very limited numbers. If you see one in stock, jump on it quick or someone else will. Mine should be here in about a month.

• A:Answer Gosh, I suppose for a very competitive hill climber that might be true. For a cycling work out like peloton or similar you can get a pretty good load. I am in decent shape and have ridden for a long time. At 50 years old, I stay in the middle to lower third of the resistance range and it’s more than enough. It is magnetic, so it’s silent but cannot truly lock the wheel like a friction brake. To me it’s worth the trade for the smoothness and quietness

Q: QuestionCan the handlebars be adjusted fore and aft? Moving the seat fore or aft is NOT the correct way to change the distance from seat to handlebar. The fore and aft seat adjustment is strictly related to the pedals.

• A:Answer While the monitor is asleep, press and hold the up and down arrow simultaneously for three seconds. This will gray out everything but the units. Press the up or down button to cycle between KM and MI. When MI is displayed, press the return button (bottom middle). The next time you start, it will be in miles.
